Offer Description
Institute of Fundamental Technological Research (IPPT PAN), one of the leading technological research centres in Poland, is looking for a senior scientist with good scientific records and leadership experience, to lead a group of scientists, formally acting in the Institute’s structure as the Department of of Intelligent Technologies (see the Department’s web site: Department of Intelligent Technologies - Institute of Fundamental Technological Research Polish Academy of Sciences (pan.pl) for more information about the Department and its activities).
The person will be responsible for maintaining high level of the research conducted at the Department, successful grant applications in both national and foreign funding institutions, innovation- and application-oriented research planning, development of the research team.

Specific Requirements
Documented scientific records (append to your CV list of publications of the last 5 years, number of citations and H-index according to Web of Science and SCOPUS), experience in leading scientific groups, in international cooperation and in realization of research projects, at least PhD degree, preferable “habilitation” degree or equivalent.
Required documents:
1) application addressed to the Director;
2) scientific and professional CV;
3) list of publications (indicating the most important 5), number of citations and H index (calculated according to the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases);
4) a document presenting the candidate's vision of the development of the department;
5) a list of three researchers from outside IPPT PAN who can express their opinion about the candidate;
6) personal questionnaire;
7) copies of documents confirming obtaining degrees or academic titles
8) signed declaration: "I consent to the processing of personal data contained in my job offer for the needs necessary to carry out the recruitment process conducted by IPPT PAN based in Warsaw, ul. A.
