Specific Requirements
The competitive selection process is open for all individuals, who meet the requirements set out in Articles 113 and 116.4.1) of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science, and who meet the following eligibility criteria according to § 172 of the Statute of the Jagiellonian University: • holding a Master’s degree or an equivalent degree; • having at least 5 years of teaching experience.
• Master degree in Japanese Studies, preferably in philology (literature, linguistics, didactics of the Japanese language); additional education is an advantage. • Proficiency in Japanese language at a level equivalent to N1 Japanese Language Proficiency Test. • Experience of a long-term (preferably academic) stay in Japan is an advantage. • Professional experience as translator/interpreter of Japanese language is an advantage. • At least 5 years of experience in teaching Japanese as a foreign language. • Good knowledge of Polish language. • Organizational skills; experience in organizing academic or cultural events
