Type of contract – time-limited contract, 2 years

Competition requirements:

The successful candidate shall comply with the requirements specified in art. 113 of The Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668 with amendments), and will present the following:

  • at least a master's degree in teaching French as a foreign language;
  • research experience in applied linguistics focused on the teaching process;
  • confirmed scientific activities and a development plan in that area;
  • experience in teaching French as a foreign language;
  • competence in the application of new technologies in the humanities, particularly in language teaching, that could be used in practical French classes.

During the selection process, the candidate may be asked to teach a class in French on a topic of their choice.

 

Main duties of the position:  

  • teaching for the obligatory annual number of teaching hours (hourly requirement);
  • fulfilment of teaching tasks for example: conducting exams, assessments and tests;
  • organisational duties for example: participation in works of the examination committees;
  • keeping teaching and scientific documentation;
  • participation in meetings of collegial bodies at the University.
