Position Summary

The Coordinator, Stakeholder Relations is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current key stakeholders in Hanoi and Northern area, identifying potential strategic partners to ensure strategic growth, the implementation of engagement activities/ sales events to generate inquiries for Higher Education programs.

This position is also responsible for student recruitment processes from first contact stage to admissions in assigned areas. The key performance outputs of this role will focus on the successful implementation of engagement events, positive feedback from stakeholders and effectiveness of work relating directly to the number of students enrolled in Higher Education programs on an annual basis




Reporting Line

Reports to:                        Manager Student Recruitment, Hanoi campus




Key Accountabilities

  • Stakeholder engagement activities

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders for student recruitment and marketing.

Implement effective engagement plans and document them.

Manage stakeholder activities and events, reporting their effectiveness.

Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and stakeholder needs.

Develop annual plans to enhance stakeholder relations and generate sales pipelines.

Provide tailored training and engagement for influencers and their institutions.

  • Customer Services

Advise and provide information on RMIT programs and admissions at recruitment events, including high schools.

Communicate effectively and respond to inquiries from high school partners.

Coordinate with Student Administration and Admission teams on selection process issues and support potential students referred by high schools.

Monitor and coordinate activities and events for key stakeholders, especially high schools.

  • CRM database management

Follow the data entry guidelines and processes to ensure stakeholder information is up to date.

Ensure engagement activities are captured in the CRM on a timely basis.

Generate reports on the effectiveness of engagement events and activities.

Perform any other duties as required.


Key Selection Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ working in an educational or service-based industry;
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills, written, and spoken (English and Vietnamese)
  • Well-developed and demonstrable strong interpersonal skills specifically related to excellent customer service and sales functions.
  • Demonstrated good presentation skills in front of large number of audiences
  • and data input and maintenance of CRM type records with high level of attention to detail.
  • Well-developed planning, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to supervise, coordinate and/or implement tasks in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.

English Proficiency

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General with a score of at least 5.5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).

For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
