Competition for the position of assistant professor in the research and teaching staff group at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology in the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Design (Mechatronics Section).

TASKS/ ROLE
- researcher and academic teacher
- conducting scientific research (anticipated areas of research: vibration modelling and vibration reduction methods, identification and optimization methods, robotics, applications of Artificial Intelligence, human-machine interactions)
- preparing scientific and didactic publications
- seeking funding for the research
- teaching in Polish and English languages

REQUIREMENTS
1. PhD in Mechanical Engineering or similar (eg. automation, robotics, electronics, mechatronics)
2. readiness and background for teaching at the university in at least 3 of the following areas:
- mechanics (including vibrations)
- automation
- robotics
- programming and numerical methods (in particular, skills in Matlab environment and at least one of the languages: C, C++, Java, Python)
- artificial intelligence
- modeling and design of mechatronic systems
- signal and image processing

3. knowledge background allowing conducting scientific research in at least one of the areas indicated in point 2, applied as part of the Mechanical Engineering research field
4. fluency in Polish and knowledge of English language allowing writing scientific publications and conduct classes
5. H-index according to Scopus to 3 or above
