Offer Description

A full-time teaching assistant in the Department of Housing and Technical-Ecological Foundations of Architecture.

The candidate is offered the possibility of professional development, participation in scientific projects, the possibility of international cooperation.

The range of responsibilities shall include the following:

Teaching duties: conducting of the assigned classes in the amount of at least 360 hours per academic year, including mainly design classes in full-time and part-time studies, ensuring a high level of expertise and good contact with students;

Organisational duties for the benefit of the department and the faculty involving additional time and workload.

level of education: Master’s degree in architecture;

knowledge of the architectural design issues (especially in the field of housing construction), including Building Law, regulations, constructions, principles of building art proven with work in the profession of an architect, possibly professional licences or accomplished projects;

fluent use of computer programs supporting design (CAD environment);

Specific Requirements

fluency in conveying knowledge, skills and social competences, teaching experience on the university level would be an additional asset;

fluent knowledge of Polish and English or German in speech and writing.

an additional advantage will be scientific publications;

an additional advantage will be building qualifications for designing in the architectural specialty with or without restrictions;

The competition committee may, in justified cases, decide on holding an additional interview with selected applicants.

The competition committee is not the authority taking the final decision on employment of the selected applicant.

The final decision on employment  shall be taken by the Rector.

 

The documents submitted may be collected within 30 days of completion of the selection procedure. Unless collected within the above mentioned period, the documents shall be destroyed under supervision.

From 25 May 2018, the legal basis for the processing of personal data contained in the ZUT database is Article 6(1)(a),(b),(c),(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), i.e. the legitimate interest pursued by the data controller. This means that personal data from the above-mentioned database will also be processed for analytical, statistical purposes as well as for possible determination and pursuit of claims and defense against claims. Personal data will be processed until the consent is withdrawn, if the processing is based on it or an objection is raised.
