Offer Description

The research centre will contribute to increased understanding of interactions and challenges in the meeting point between EEA law and national law.  

The PhD project is to address selected issues related to the complexity of legal regulation in the EU/EEA; methodological challenges in the interpretation, application and implementation of EEA law; and/or the legislation, courts and public administration's handling of meeting points between Norwegian law and EEA law, including the challenges that the organisation of the Norwegian administration creates for the implementation of EEA law.

The project may want to address questions that cut across these issues. The project may address issues within specific areas of law, but may also be more cross-cutting.

Projects focusing on the significance of EU/EEA law for central fields of public law will be prioritized in this call.

Examples of areas that can be examined are administrative law, constitutional law, social security and social law, immigration law, labor law, discrimination law, environmental law, energy law, criminal law, and procedural law.
