The fellowship is linked to a multinational  project “Bridging Psychology with Societal Development Science: Fifty Countries Research into the Relation Between ‘Folk Theories of Societal Development’ and ‘Ideal Types of Well-being’". The Norwegian work package - “Norway as a Well-being Society” - involves an interdisciplinary, in-depth study of the relation between socio-economic development and the evolving ideas of – and aspirations to – well-being in Norway. The project is funded by the European Economic Area (EEA) grant-scheme, and includes a collaboration between SUM, the Polish Academy of Science, The Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and the departments of Psychology at, respectively, the University of Warsaw and the University of Oslo (Promenta Research Center).
