The Department of Economics has more than 45 faculty members and is built around a number of internationally renowned research groups in a wide range of fields, providing high quality research and teaching in economics. Besides labour economics, the key research areas at the department are applied microeconomics, behavioural economics, development economics, industrial organisation, macroeconomics, environmental and resource economics, and international trade. The department has an international faculty and is committed to offer an inclusive and supportive work environment with a key focus on carrier opportunities for young faculty.
