Updated: over 1 year ago
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 01 Oct 2022

The fellowship is part of the project QOMBINE – “Mathematics for quantum computation and manybody theory”, and the goal is to apply operator-algebraic techniques to problems in quantum information theory related to quantum entanglement and non-locality. QOMBINE is a Large-scale Interdisciplinary Researcher project which is part of the Fellesløft IV programme of the Research Council of Norway. It is therefore among the largest funded researcher projects in Norway.

For more information on the QOMBINE project, see the project web page: https://www.mn.uio.no/math/english/research/projects/qombine/index.html

At the Department of Mathematics, the candidate will be affiliated with the group in Operator Algebra in Section 6 and be part of its vibrant and inclusive environment.  Working on a true interdisciplinary project, the successful candidate will interact with other fellows and senior researchers on the QOMBINE project, e.g., with members at the Department of Physics.
