About the position
NHH in Bergen, Norway, invites applications to a full-time Assistant Professor position at the Department of Strategy and Management . The position is within the field of strategy and organisation and has a focus on strategic and organisational change and renewal. The position is a temporary appointment for a period of four years.
You will be part of a strong and supportive team of researchers dedicated to producing research with an international outreach in high-ranked publication outlets. Being part of this research team will provide you access to leading Scandinavian private and public organisations and a cross-disciplinary team of researchers. The successful candidate will also be invited to join the Digital Innovation for sustainable Growth (DIG) research centre.
Employment requires a Ph.D. in business administration or adjacent fields. We encourage applications from candidates with a background in strategy and organisation and preferably with knowledge and experience of applying qualitative research methods. Candidates should have completed a doctoral degree from a well-recognised Ph.D. program and can document a strong publication pipeline. Experience in teaching is a strength but not a requirement, as NHH offers pedagogical training to prepare faculty for an all-round career in academia. The appointee must take one basic module of the programme for university pedagogy during the fixed-term period.

The salary will be negotiable within the Norwegian State Salary Scale for assistant professors.

In addition, the applicant should provide an overview and assessment of the applicants' teaching experience and confirmation of teaching quality.
