Te āheinga: The opportunity

In this casual role, you'll be responsible for supporting academic staff in learning support for our akōnga (tutoring/mentoring for students, and to assist with statistical computer labs) enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Sciences and for the Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing.

You'll have:

• An understanding or desire to learn Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori
• Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
• Relevant experience or robust level of knowledge of statistics or the scientific method
• Demonstrable practical ability to tutor in a vocational education context
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
