Solutions Analyst
Analyse, design, and implement leading technological solutions, aimed at elevating operational efficiency, bolstering academic initiatives, and enhancing overall institutional effectiveness.
Mō te tūka | The role
Support decision making within the University through the analysis of critical business challenges and opportunities, and support in identifying and developing solutions to address these.
You will be collaborating with various stakeholders, analysing requirements, and designing effective solutions to enhance overall operational efficiency and support the university's strategic goals.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Systems analysis & design: lead systems analysis, design solutions for complex challenges, and serve as a technical expert.
- Project delivery support: offer support and leadership in technology projects aimed at elevating academic processes, enhancing administrative efficiency, and improving the overall student experience.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus. The remuneration range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Eight or more years experience working in a similar capacity.
- A relevant tertiary or professional qualification in IT (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to assess complex scenarios / challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Sound technical understanding and knowledge of general IT business operations.
- Experience with a variety of applications relevant to the role would be beneficial e.g. Dynamics365, Office365, Oracle Peoplesoft, Sun finance, Moodle etc.
- Experience supporting project teams, in particular using an Agile approach.
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
