Te āheinga: The opportunity

As a Senior Quality Administrator, you'll be a first point of contact for academic staff needing academic quality-related support. You'll work within an academic team, providing efficient and effective administrative support as well as advice and guidance.

You will work closely with teaching staff, programme managers, and colleagues within Te Korowai Kahurangi (Academic Service Centre), Student Services, and Operations. You will report to one of the Te Korowai Kahurangi team leaders and work closely with one or more academic programme managers.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You'll enjoy juggling multiple priorities and managing tight deadlines and thrive on ensuring your work is accurate, carefully documented, and efficient. You'll be organised and diligent, creating order and structure within your team. You'll have previous experience working with compliance-based processes and systems and strong proficiency in the MS Office Suite and databases.

We're looking for you to have the following:

  • Proven administrative experience, including minute taking
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written English ability
  • The ability to manage priorities and expectations
  • High attention to detail
  • Relevant experience within the education sector
  • An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
  • Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
