The School of Clinical Sciences has x4 casual hourly paid positions for Clinical Educators available for a short period (3-4 months) in the Nursing department.
We require registered nurses to fill the clinical positions. The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes. To be considered for the positions applicants must have a minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification relating to Nursing.
Applicants will have a current NCNZ practising certificate and recent New Zealand clinical experience. They will embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme if required.
The positions will work alongside students including Māori and Pacific students so a high level of cultural sensitivity is desired, along with knowledge of kawa and tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge).

- Be clinically current in New Zealand
