Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As Plumber you will install, maintain, and operate a broad range of plumbing services within the University of Canterbury facilities including:

  • Potable water systems
  • Waste water systems
  • Storm water systems
  • Roofing, flashings and penetrations
  • Amenity facilities and equipment
  • Providing after-hours support
  • Providing comprehensive documentation

Mōu | Who You Are
You are an experienced Plumber. You must have a plumber licence or be qualified and willing to go through your licence.

It's important that you can work in a team environment with limited supervision and show initiative when required.

You should have a clean and current New Zealand Drivers licence.

Sitting within the wider Facilitates management team, you will be one of three Plumbers in the Trades Services team. With such a range of facilities, the team is always busy. We are a friendly team and are eager to welcome someone who is interested in growth and learning.
