Te āheinga: The opportunity

You'll be working As the Peoplesoft Technical Developer.  This is a fulltime permanent salaried position working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours p/week.  You'll join a highly engaged, high-performing core team of 5 and 31 within the broader IT team. We work closely together and enjoy sharing knowledge to develop and grow our skills.  

You'll be responsible for the translation of user and subject matter experts' requirements and or functional specifications into technical specifications, to develop workable digital solutions within our PeopleSoft and Core Application environment.

This will include deliverables to provide scoping requirements, developing, testing, and implementing PeopleSoft automation initiatives.  A high level of report writing is also required to provide valuable scheduled reports to the business.

Essential:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent).
  • Peoplesoft experience designing, developing, scoping, testing, documenting, and deploying Peoplesoft Tools, Internet Architecture.
  • Ability to write complex reports in SQR, File Layouts and PS Query.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to liaise with relative stakeholders and independently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities, comparing data from different sources to conclude; using practical approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.
  • Generating innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.
  • The ability to keep calm and remain focused when experiencing pressure at work.
