Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for an experienced Mata Ahupae - School Administrator on a permanent, full-time contract to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Te Kura o ngā Reo me ngā Tikanga-ā-iwi - School of Languages and Cultures and its programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for academic courses and programme delivery in a professional, accurate, and timely manner for all course stake holders.
  • Provide efficient administrative & operational support for the school.
  • Provide excellent administrative support for undergraduate and post graduate students’ activities within the school.

Your success in this role will rely on your previous experience in an administrative role.

You will:

  • Be a motivated, customer-focused individual who can take the initiative and has excellent administrative skills as well as being competent with technology.
  • Be able to work in a focused team environment while also managing individual project tasks.
