Marketing Communications Specialist

Create compelling and engaging content to promote Lincoln University's brand identity and support recruitment efforts.

Mō te tūka | The role

Utilise your creative skills to develop and execute strategic communication initiatives to enhance the University's brand visibility and engagement. 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with various individuals to create compelling content and campaigns across multiple channels to effectively engage with prospective students and stakeholders.

Some tasks of the role include:

  • Print and digital content development
  • Marketing and campaign coordination
  • Publication copywriting and coordination

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.  The remuneration is negotiable from $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, commerce, or journalism.
  • Content creation and management of written, visual and multimedia materials tailored for different platforms and audiences.
  • Experience in content management systems and graphic design software is beneficial.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise articulation of ideas.
  • Ability to generate creative ideas and concepts to support marketing strategies and campaign.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as social media and email marketing to effectively engage target audiences.
