Te āheinga: The opportunity

As our Lecturer of Interior Design, you'll join a team of experienced Interior Design Architecture educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and student success.

You'll provide exceptional technical teaching in into our Residential Design Studio and Materials Technology Course as well as co-ordination of student internships within industry. You'll be an active contributor to the development and delivery of our many programmes in the Interior Design discipline.

You'll teach across the following courses in both our Residential Level 5 and the Commercial Level 6 Interior Design programmes:

  • Residential Design Studio
  • Materials Technology
  • Project coordination for Commercial Interior Design

He kōrero mōu: About you

  • Demonstrable design practice experience i.e. A minimum of 10 year's operating a Residential Interior Design Consultancy Business.
  • A minimum of five years tertiary teaching experience
  • Experience in Exhibition Design and/or interior styling.
  • Hold a recognised Interior Design qualification
  • Demonstrate your commitment to academic quality, and the provision of high-quality educational experiences for students.
  • Strong industry connection/experience.
