Te āheinga: The opportunity

2024 is proving to be a good year for Language Studies at Unitec. International students are returning and our number of NZCEL cohorts is stable.

Here at Unitec, we teach NZCEL3 General right through to NZCEL5 with most of our students moving into mainstream study at Unitec or other Institutes once they have finished their English study. We have a range of students from refugees, migrants, and Internationals.

Language Studies has a full-time permanent vacancy to teach English. Because of a recent staff resignation, we are looking for someone new to our team, someone who is able to teach a range of levels from NZCE3 to NZCE5. There may also be future opportunities to develop and teach in our Level 5 ESP Courses.

Please refer to the Position Description for further information about the role.
