This is a full-time permanent salaried position, working 37.5 hours per week. 

Our programs offer an excellent balance between 'academic excellence' and 'industry experience' for our student's employability. You will have a student-centered approach and are committed to seeing our students succeed in their learning journey through our unique blended learning programs which require your academic and professional expertise.

We seek a lecturer with passion and experience for teaching Digital Marketing and Digital Business courses at our Mt Albert campus. The lecturer will teach on both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise students in their capstone Industry Projects.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You'll bring a passion for supporting students and proven Digital Marketing and Digital Business expertise, ideally in both academia and industry.

To be successful in this role you will also be able to demonstrate:

  • An understanding or desire to learn Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori
  • Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
  • Minimum of a Masters' degree in a relevant area
  • Experience and expertise in areas including SEO, PPC, inbound marketing, content creation, web analytics, digital business and transformation, and social media marketing.
  • Industry or commercial experience is an advantage
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research - including evidence of research outputs.
  • Experience in the supervision of postgraduate students
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Commitment to treaty-based partnership
