Te āheinga: The opportunity

Fulltime (37.5 hrs p/w) fixed term position ending in June 2023

As a content editor with a strong marketing understanding, you'll play a key role in delivering user-friendly digital solutions and content, with a particular focus on our web channel.  You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, which will see you partnering closely with our IT, product, insights, international, communications, and student support teams.

You will have a holistic view of the customer's digital experience utilising data and insights to improve user experience and website performance optimisation. Working in tandem with the Digital Experience Specialist - Social and Content, you'll ensure all digital planning, content, campaigns, and strategies are aligned and that stakeholders across the business have the appropriate knowledge, support, and training to enable the delivery of excellent customer journeys.

You will have

  • A relevant Tertiary-level qualification
  • Proven experience in managing website content and projects
  • Strong UX focus
  • Experience in deploying and reporting on EDM campaigns
  • Good technical understanding of CMS, email platforms and databases
  • Solid experience in using google analytics, search console, tag manager and AdWords
  • Understanding and experience in the implementation of A/B testing initiatives across digital platforms
  • Strong HTML skills
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop will be advantageous
  • An understanding or desire to learn te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori
