For over 17 years, clients and learners have valued LearningWorks’ experience, approach, care, and expertise in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning design, training, and learning technologies.
Working with Wintec - Te Pūkenga, government organisations, and across the health, commercial and education sectors, the team is a unique collective of highly talented individuals who design and create learning resources, deliver training, and develop learning platforms.
Kia hāngai te ako – we help learning work.
The Role
This role will be responsible for delivering high quality learning experiences using a variety of technology, and a blended learning approach to learners/ākonga from a wide range of industries across the country.
This is a pivotal role in developing and maintaining supportive relationships with and between our learners/ākonga, and our office-based training team, to drive outcomes and success for our learners/ākonga and our clients.
With a focus on leadership, business management, project management and adult education, this role will also provide scope to use your expertise to contribute to the development of new and updated programmes, and to plan and implement new training opportunities.
As this is a contractor role, frequency of work will vary based on demand from learners/ākonga and clients for the programmes and courses we deliver.
Are you the ideal candidate?
We’re looking for dynamic facilitators/kaiako to join our existing team. Someone who can balance bringing learning to life in a face-to-face or online environment, with keeping learners on track behind the scenes to hit their training goals.
Comfort using technology is going to be vital, as is a healthy dose of initiative. Knowledge and experience integrating te ao Māori perspectives within delivery would be an advantage.
This role is not entry level facilitation, and we would like to hear from candidates with at least two years’ experience in a teaching or training role and who hold appropriate qualifications that demonstrate their experience.
The team is close-knit and complement each other’s skill sets nicely, and we would like a candidate with a great sense of humour to slot in.
We are keen to hear from people located nationwide! If this sounds like you? Apply now!
