Clinical Educator/Registered Nurse - Nursing

The School of Clinical Sciences has a fixed-term, part-time (0.5FTE) position available for a Clinical Educator in Nursing.  This position is annualised.

We require a nurse educator to fulfil the clinical position. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes.   To be considered for the position, applicants must have a minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification relating to Nursing.  There is an expectation that the appointee will contribute to the development of clinical learning within nursing at AUT.

Applicants will have a current practising certificate and recent clinical experience. They will embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.  Knowledge and practice application of tikanga & matauranga Māori would be beneficial.  This position will work alongside students, including Māori and Pacific students.

AUT will require successful applicants to provide proof of full COVID vaccination prior to commencement of employment.

Annual Salary Range: $66,000 - $89,000 - will be pro-rated (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
