We are inviting an application for a Clinical Educator (0.8FTE) to join the department of Oral Health at the School of Clinical Sciences. This position will be clinically based at South Campus during the semester period (12 weeks per semester) supervising students and during non-teaching periods you will be provided mentorship from academics to further grow your capacity and contributions to the programme.
With the guidance of the Course and Programme Leaders and Head of Department, you will deliver teaching and learning experiences for students enrolled in the oral health programme, including simulation and clinical practice.
Applicants will hold a bachelor's degree in oral health therapy and will have a strong clinical and/or academic background and currently registered with the Dental Council of New Zealand. Candidates will embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.
