Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Business Analyst to join our newly formed Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team. The role will be responsible for contributing to and delivering business solutions for our internal customers and external stakeholders, using and promoting Agile, Design Thinking and User Experience approaches.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the successful completion of digital projects by active involvement at all stages of the project lifecycle from inception to delivery, scoping, planning, analysis, design, UAT testing, implementation, training and support. 
  • Support, and deliver enhancements for, the Microsoft 365 product suite and remain current with the latest position.
  • Make configuration changes to M365 systems as required to improve user experience and implement processes.
  • Collaborate with product owners to find elegant and usable solutions to business challenges, creating prototypes/MVPs to help communicate concepts and applying broad and functional knowledge to solve problems.

We are seeking innovative, flexible, customer focused individuals with a solid set of Microsoft 365 / CRM skills with a passion for improving the student experience by analysing and prioritising requirements and then delivering configured solutions. You will bring your experience and enthusiasm to this newly formed team who will thrive in an Agile development environment.

Key Requirements: 

  • Experience in customer centric service design and business analysis in an Agile context.
  • Sound experience and understanding of Agile methodologies and techniques especially Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with mapping customer journeys to enhance the customer experience.
  • Good understanding of M365 products and other technologies, including Dynamics CRM 365, PowerAutomate, Forms and their impact on / utility in the business environment.
  • Ability to design and implement processes and user interfaces in a low/no code environment
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with user groups, vendors, stakeholders and all levels of management.
  • Strong presentation skills and able to technically lead development discussions.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
