Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As a Building Controls Service Technician, you'll work across a diverse range of campus facilities, ensuring building management systems, HVAC controls, lighting controls, and electrical-for-mechanical services operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll troubleshoot faults, respond to system alarms, carry out planned maintenance, support building upgrades, and contribute to energy efficiency initiatives across campus. Working closely with engineers, contractors, and other trades, you'll help deliver smart building solutions that improve performance and occupant comfort.

Mōu | Who You Are
You are a qualified and registered electrician with strong fault-finding skills and a genuine interest in controls technology and automation.

You'll bring experience working with HVAC, industrial controls, or building automation systems, along with the ability to diagnose complex issues and work collaboratively in a busy operational environment.

Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), controls commissioning, DALI lighting controls, or energy management systems will be highly regarded.
