Accommodation Administrator

Support our onsite accommodation services providing customer service, financial administration & general admin support. 

Mō te tūka | The role

Seeking applications for a dedicated administrator to be our first point of contact for accommodation matters for students living at our Lincoln Campus. 

Accommodation Services manage on-campus accommodation (halls of residence, flats and houses) and facilitate access to other forms of off-campus accommodation (Homestays, private rentals) for students. 

Some tasks of the role include:

  • Administration - maintain databases, action and coordinate administration associated with the student lifecycle in our accommodation facilities.
  • Customer service - Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all clients.
  • Financial administration - monitor and action student accounts.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.  The remuneration range is set at $55,000 to $62,000 per annum, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven and successful work history in Administration, Accounts and Customer Services.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Experience in communicating effectively with a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
  • The ability to provide relevant and appropriate guidance and feedback.
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise good judgement in managing competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work within and manage a wide range of personal and sensitive information including confidentiality, security and access.
