We're seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team within the Mechanical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology. As a Program Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational programs by collaborating closely with program directors and providing essential support.

Job Description

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Education and Student Affairs (ESA) team within ME, responsible for supporting bachelor's and master's programs offered by our department. As a non-scientific Program Coordinator, your focus will be on the effective management of our three interdepartmental master's programs: Automotive Technology (AT), Sustainable Energy Technology (SET), and Systems and Control (S&C). You'll work alongside colleagues including Program Coordinators, Education coordinators, Educational Designers, Quality Assurance, Policy Advisors, Academic Advisors, and the Program Directors, reporting directly to the Manager of ESA ME.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the seamless operation of the interdepartmental master's programs
  • Community building and stakeholder management with the associated departments, research groups and teachers
  • Spearheading efforts to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Contributing to curriculum development and optimization for AT, SET, and S&C
  • Organizing informative events for staff and students
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual education report and PER
  • Providing guidance to program committees
  • Contributing to the re-accreditation process for the AT program

  • You have an academic background in education (sciences) and/or experience in managing educational processes
  • Having affinity with STEM is a pre, but not a necessity       
  • You are enthusiastic about arranging and streamlining processes. You are great at keeping an overview and structuring information.  
  • You are keen to work in a large organization and see this as an opportunity to learn and develop.
  • You are hands-on, work efficiently and can take on several activities at the same time, finding it easy to prioritize.
  • You are a team player and can present different points of view and take them into consideration. 
  • You have an eye for quality improvement on processes and you are eager to learn. 
  • Strong communication skills in English, proficiency in Dutch is regarded as a big plus.

An exciting temporary position for a year within an international yet personal university.   • A monthly salary of minimum €3.226 to maximum €5.090 for full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience (scale 10 collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities).
