We are looking for a highly motivated person to work as a research technician in the technician pool of the Reactor Institute Delft. The technician will be closely connected to the research within the group Reactor Physics and Nuclear Materials that focuses on the analysis and development of safe and sustainable nuclear reactors and fuel cycles.  He /she is expected to support research, education activities of the group and supervising students in practical’s. Occasional work with radioactive materials will occur.

The candidate should have a HBO degree in a Physics, Technische Natuurkunde, or similar. The work can be very dynamic and flexibility is required. The position is permanent with one year probation period. Good English speaking and writing skills are necessary. Specific knowledge and experience in programming, thermal hydraulics, laser optics, physics transport processes is a plus.

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. The TU Delft offers a customisable compensation package, a discount on health insurance and sport memberships, and a monthly work costs contribution. Flexible work schedules can be arranged.
