In your role as functional administrator at X, a vibrant environment centred on arts, crafts, sports, games, lifestyle and reflection within TU Delft, you will play a key role in optimising our customer systems, websites and applications. As functional administrator, you are the driving force behind the operational management of our customer system, website and various applications. You are not only closely involved in X's internal processes, but also know how to create support for our priorities while consulting with suppliers on a national level.

Within the Systems department, which consists of 16 permanent staff and students, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise to the day-to-day operations in the areas of HR, ICT, Finance and more. In collaboration with the Processes and ICT team, you will optimise, standardise and integrate work processes and ICT set-ups. You also provide support to colleagues in implementing and using information systems and are actively involved in troubleshooting.

In the dynamic environment of X, you make a valuable contribution to the structured mapping of user requirements. You analyse disruptions, develop new solutions and manage operational and tactical reports using SQL and BI Tooling. As organiser of functional (chain) tests and user tests, you ensure flawless implementation of releases.

Besides your enthusiasm and drive, you are a structured team player with strong analytical skills. Initiative, eager to learn and open to feedback, you are able to maintain excellent relationships with internal and external ICT service providers and end users.   • Relevant work experience in functional administration.
  • Higher education (HBO) work and thinking level with an interest in information management.
  • Affinity with management processes, preferably knowledge of BiSL and ASL.
  • Experience in managing (SAAS) suppliers and internal ICT service providers.
  • Experience with process and requirements analysis.
  • Insight into the cohesion of processes, applications and links.
  • Strong empathy, proactive thinking about solutions.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, adaptable to users and administrators.

The position has a scope of 32-40 hours (0.8-1.0 FTE). It is a temporary position for the duration of one year, with a view to permanent employment. The salary is based on scale 9 of the CAO Dutch Universities with a minimum of €3.377,- and a maximum of €4.640,- gross per month for a full-time appointment. You will be scaled on the basis of knowledge and experience.

Education & Student Affairs (ESA) provides educational support by taking care of education and student administration, coordinating education policy, functional management of educational applications and providing monitoring- and management reports, supporting and supervising Dutch and international students and PhD candidates, providing training in teaching and other areas, giving educational advice and support and organising sport & culture activities. ESA is made up of the departments Education Service Centre, Academic Services, Information Management and X. ESA employs around 250 staff.
