The Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research is recruiting a 

Student Research Assistant 

for the Urban Development and Mobility department (f/m)

  • Ref: 22-27

  • Student fixed-term contract till end of December 2022

  • Part-time 15 hours per week

  • Enrolment as a Master student at the University of Luxembourg is mandatory

  • Expected start date: 15th of November 2022

LISER invites motivated applicants for the position of Research Assistant in the framework of the research projects led by researchers in the "Department of Urban Development and Mobility ". The research project seeks to understand better blockchain applications' impact on the residential real estate market.

Your role

As a Research Assistant, your tasks will include:

  • Data collection and analysis

  • Business process modelling

  • Academic literature review

  • Being involved in research projects led by researchers in the Department of Urban Development and Mobility.

Your profile

  • Student of Master's degree in finance, economics, political science or a related field;

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills;

  • Interest in digital transformation and blockchain;

  • Ideally, a genuine interest in real estate value chains and organisational change; experience in business analysis and modelling;

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English; working knowledge of French would be an advantage;

  • Enthusiasm for research, critical thinking and working in a diverse team.
