ICFO is offering postdoctoral position to well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will be joining the Quantum Optics Theory group led by Prof. Dr. Maciej Lewenstein and will work on the development of quantum information protocols for current quantum information technologies. This ranges from novel protocols device-independent methods to validate, verify, and certify quantum correlations, entanglement, Bell correlations etc. for existing quantum simulators and near-term NISQ quantum computing devices. Applications of massively quantumly correlated states and quantum randomness for quantum technology (quantum communications and quantum metrology) will be also in focus, as well as outreach/dissemination projects involving arts and technology.
