ICFO’s Human Resources (HR) Unit is responsible for maximizing the institute’s talent attraction efforts, offering outstanding opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as providing a supportive, equitable and inclusive environment.

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Promote safety and health awareness at ICFO
  • Constantly update procedures and promote improvements to guarantee the rules and regulations are enforced with an emphasis on preventive measures to ensure the safety, security and health standards at ICFO.
  • Manage Risk Prevention assessment for the various job positions, training and information in safety, biosafety and human clinical trials to ICFO employees.
  • Manage any necessary audits (legal, internal and certifications).
  • Manage the coordination on safety matters with external companies working at ICFO.
  • Lead safety protection program, perform fire drills, analyse and investigate accidents at ICFO.
  • Coordinate with the external prevention services.
  • Coordinate health surveillance with SPA and organize annual campaigns for medical check-ups.
  • Coordinate and participate in the meetings of the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Update information on the specific software, monitor information, perform statistics, annual reports and maintain the necessary documentation to meet the legal requirements.
