The aim of this research is to identify possible decarbonization strategies in the existing building stock, based on the adoption of a sustainable and circular approach. The study of tools and methods for analyzing the environmental impact of buildings' interventions will be addressed through cooperation with other European institutes active in the Erasmus + project "BUILD2050– Training for Sustainable and Healthy Building for 2050 "(Call 2021 Round 1 KA2 KA220-HED - Cooperation partnerships in higher education, Coordinator: Polytechnic Institute of Setubal-2022-2025), and of the Drive0 project, Horizon 2020 GA No. 841850.
The work program also includes the implementation of soft skills of organization management, networking with the international institutions involved and dissemination and communication activities, including publications (both scientific and for public at large), and anything else necessary for the performance of the activities of the two research projects.
