Offer Description

The Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) at Università di Trento invites applications from outstanding candidates for new positions in the fields of data infrastructures , middleware development , and big data analytics at scale (cloud and/or HPC) for climate change.

The selected candidates will delve into key research areas, including but not limited to:

• Middleware and infrastructure tailored to big data management
• data engineering, data analytics, data intelligence
• large-scale data analysis
• cloud, microservices & containers

The deadline for EoI is March 31, but please consider some positions are already open until the end of February (others should open in March), so should your preliminary application be successful, you will soon be invited to provide a detailed formal application subsequently.

Essential Qualifications:
Researcher positions:

• A PhD in computer science, information engineering plus a strong record of publications in the research areas of the EoI

Post-doc positions:

• A PhD in computer science, information engineering.

Post-graduate positions:

• A MSc in computer science, information engineering.

Additional Details:

• Contract Duration: 1 year (renewal will be subject to a positive evaluation at the end of the contract)
• Compensation: Competitive
• Teaching hours depending on the position
