Offer Description

Study of membranes for the removal of pollutants emerging from water.

The membranes are created as part of the PRIN2023 project: Vertically Oriented Graphene Assembled Nanostructures for WATER purification (VOGA'N WATER).

In the project we will deal with the synthesis of these membranes, together with researchers from the universities of Padova and Sassari, using two-dimensional materials (graphene oxide) and sol-gel techniques; then we will study how pollutants interact with these membranes, both at equilibrium (sorption isotherms) and in operating flow conditions (load curves).
