Offer Description
Research activities of this project will unfold over several, interconnected aspects:a)initial enrollment of at least 200 outpatients fulfilling inclusion criteria of heart failure (1-year duration);b)baseline clinical, laboratory,and basic imaging evaluation; including optimization of medical therapy;c)advanced non-invasive imaging (Speckle tracking imaging; 3D-echocardiography; intra-cavitary flow analysis),with off-line computer-based processing and analysis of images;d)clinical and imaging follow-up throughout the 2 years following the enrollment until the end of the project;adverse cardiovascular events (death from any cause, rehospitalization for heart failure,Atrial fibrillation episodes;malignant ventricular arrhythmias) will be censored;e)Statistical analysis of data;f)Writing of a scientific paper describing and discussing main findings
