Post Summary

Trinity College Dublin and Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) invite applications for the position of Workday Professor in Technology and Society. This position is a joint appointment between Trinity College Dublin (40%) and Technological University Dublin (60%).

Workday is a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, helping customers adapt and thrive in a changing world. Workday applications for financial management, human resources, planning, spend management, and analytics have been adopted by thousands of organisations around the world and across industries — from medium-sized businesses to more than 50% of the Fortune 500. Workday, which has its European Headquarters in Dublin, is working with Trinity College Dublin and TU Dublin to explore the influence of technological development on society.

The successful post-holder will have an excellent record in research and scholarship in areas related to technology and society, including high quality publications and funding, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching, mentoring, administration and service to the academic community. The post-holder will have a proven ability for effective and inspirational leadership.

Post status: Permanent Position (TCD 40% / TU Dublin 60%)

Presentation & Interviews are expected to take place in person on Tuesday, 6th February and Wednesday 7th February 2024.
