Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a CD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 on Decision Making Research (Business, Psychology, Philosophy, Economics), Temporary 2 years post within UCD School of Biomedical and Biomedical Science & School of Business.  

This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.

The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.

DESCRIPTION OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT

The UCD Group for Decision Research in Life Sciences is devoted to the study of how professionals form beliefs and make decisions. Researchers in the group examine the process by which cognitive biases, moral assumptions and other beliefs lead to managers and other life sciences professionals produce choices and make decisions in contexts such as drug development, business strategic choices, drug pricing or public health policy.

-          Supervision experience: The right candidate will be part of a research group and therefore will be directly involved in the supervision of other PhD, Graduate and Undergraduate students.

•         Publishing in top Business and Management journals

Salary Scale €39,522 - €45,609 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience
