Post Summary:

Trinity Teaching and Learning (TT&L) is led by the Academic Secretary and supported by a team of higher education professionals and support staff with considerable expertise across the span of the student academic lifecycle. TT&L is located within the Academic Services Division (ASD) led by the Chief Academic Officer/Vice-Provost.

The Trinity Access Programme Administrative Officer reports to and works closely with the Director of Trinity Access Programme (TAP) and liaises with the Director and four Associate Directors on all matters relating to TAP activity. The postholder has responsibility to operate within the TAP Office and to ensure consistency in approach to HR – recruitment, blending working, annual, sick, and other leave; IT; Finances – general and project budgets; Websites; Reporting; and Strategic Projects.

They manage selected committees and working groups chaired by the Director of TAP and are responsible for following up on all recommended actions and to support and/or advise on their implementation. The role holder provides high level expertise and support in the areas of, among other things, project management, data analysis, production and design of reports, IT, and finances.

Post status: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week


Salary:

This appointment will be made on the Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€43,340 - €54,597 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
