Teaching Fellow in the Department of Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering, Specific Purpose Contract – Full-time or Part-time. 

The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to teaching and administrative activities in the Department of Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering. The Teaching Fellow will manage and deliver core modules on the MAI and MSc in Engineering programmes and supervise undergraduate student projects. The candidate will support and develop new curriculum to expand the offerings to students in climate adaptation engineering. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply innovative pedagogical approaches to deliver new course content in areas such as climate change risks, and appropriate mitigation, resilience, and adaptation considerations. These topics will address the technical, economic, environmental, social and policy dimensions that impact on their successful implementation in engineering projects.

The school requires a candidate to support the delivery of core modules on existing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as developing new curriculum content for existing and new postgraduate programmes. The candidate will work closely with existing academic staff in the School of Engineering to introduce new pedagogical teaching and learning that advances the delivery of current modules.
