The School of Chemistry and AMBER, the SFI Research Centre for Advanced Materials and BioEngineering Research, at Trinity College Dublin, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work with principal investigator Prof. Colm Delaney, on IV-Lab, a project funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) under the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme. The IV-Lab consortium aims to achieve an in-vessel implantable smart sensing device for personalised medicine with multiple sensing capabilities, targeting hemodynamic and biochemical parameters. 

The successful candidate will play a significant role in the design and fabrication of novel nanocomposite photonic arrays, will report directly to the PI, Prof. Delaney, and will liaise with co-PI Prof. Florea (School of Chemistry) as well as the other team members, consortium members, AMBER & Trinity researchers, and external collaborators, as necessary. Additionally, all members of the group will have the opportunity to define and shape their own research Page 2 of 11 within the overall remit of the project. Group members will be encouraged to attend conferences, summer-schools, and secondments at other institutions.
