Applications are invited for a Temporary 2 month post of a Research Assistant within School of Agriculture and Food Science / Animal and Crop Science

A Research Assistant is required to support research activity in the field of immunocytochemistry and immunofluoresence. Duties include preparation and processing of tissue for immunocytochemistry and immunofluoresence examination.

The position will be split between UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science and the School of Veterinary Medicine will join a dynamic team investigating solutions to improve productivity across animal production systems.

Applicants should have a good primary degree (First or Second Class Honours) in an appropriate discipline. The successful candidate should have previous laboratory experience in histology and immunocytochemistry. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, organized, be willing to work as part of a research team but also can work independently. Salary Range: €27,380-€36,786 per annum

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
