Maynooth University is committed to a strategy in which the primary University goals of excellent research and scholarship and outstanding education are interlinked and equally valued.
Maynooth University (MU) is seeking to adopt Universal Design in our institutional approach to embracing diversity within our teaching and learning practice. Universal Design (UD) is a research-based framework that guides the design of accessible and effective environments that benefit all. Phase 1 of PATH (Programme for Access to Higher Education) which is funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) will support the embedding of UD approaches and inclusive practices in HEIs which will benefit all students, including autistic and neurodiverse students, and enable the building of capacity in HEIs for greater participation by students with intellectual disabilities in higher education.

The PATH 4 Project Officer will play a key role in developing a strategy and framework for the adoption of UD for learning approaches to inform the curricula, culture, policy, and practices of MU as a whole-of-institution approach to support student and institutional success.
