A Project Development Officer to work on the EIC AirInMotion grant, as part of an EU EIC Transition project. The Project Development Officer (PDO) will plan, cost and secure new commercial projects and progress the commercial development of a new technology.

The PDO will enhance the commercialisation strategy and development of a technology that efficiently captures carbon dioxide from air. The successful candidate is expected to have strong expertise in business and industrial project development demonstrating strong commitment to new emerging technologies in energy and/or environmental sectors. The person is expected to have a strong interest in tackling environmental global challenges in relation to climate change. Although the work is part of an EU EIC Transition project, but it is expected that the activities will lead to the creation of a new start-up company.

Post status: Specific Purpose Contract

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week

Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative Officer 2 salary scale (€54,907 to €64,515 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
