Applications are invited to the Professor in Personalised Therapeutics in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Trinity College, Dublin. 

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, seeks to appoint an outstanding candidate to the position of Professor in Personalised Therapeutics.  The successful candidate will have an outstanding academic research track record in basic pharmaceutical and clinical sciences coupled to leadership experience in delivering personalized therapeutics. The successful applicant will have substantial experience in the development and delivery of patient specific, targeted, science-based therapeutic selection and optimisation. Candidates should have evidence of establishing significant research programmes in the area, an active ongoing research programme and a history of success in obtaining grant funding in the field of personalised or precision medicine. They should have an ability to contribute to teaching activities and strategic academic developments within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and ability to provide leadership in the field of precision therapeutics.

This is a 5 Year Fixed Term Contract (0.6 FTE). This post is tenable from 1st July 2022.

 The successful applicant will be based in School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, College Green, Dublin 2, Ireland

Appointment will be made on the Associate Professor (Trinity Title – Professor) 103B salary scale (€90,292 - €120,713) pro rata per annum at a point in line with current Government pay policy
