The project aimsto use omics data and metabolic modelling to explore and ultimately improvefunctional coupling along the diet-microbiome-host axis. A particular emphasis will be on exploring in silico different feed additives that could improve the health of the host by modulating the microbial composition. Therefore, novel computational approaches that are tractable and versatile will be developed. The project involves various European partners.

- Reconstruct and maintain the microbiome reconstruction compendium.
- Perform computational modelling of microbiome metabolism.
- Analyse omics-data in the context of the microbiome.
