Position Summary

We welcome applications for suitably qualified candidates to join a research team investigating an integrated approach to inventory management and driver behaviour in the emergency vehicle setting. The positions are located in the Department of Applied Mathematics, UCC but you will also work with colleagues in Statistics and Computer Science. The Applied Mathematics department provides a vibrant and friendly research environment with interests including Machine Learning, Dynamical Systems, Network Dynamics, Agent-based Modelling, Scientific Computing, Energy and Water Waves. The project is funded by Enterprise Ireland Innovation Partnership Programme and the research is being conducted is in conjunction with an industry partner (ATSR Ltd., Tullamore, Co. Offaly).

Project Title: Advanced Machine Learning Algorithms for Inventory Management and Real-Time Driver Monitoring

Post Duration: 10 Months

Salary: €42,781 - €49,177 p.a. (IUA PD1 Salary Scale)
